The Erb’s generosity has blessed us to no end!

We had some circumstances come up that made it necessary to move locations for our Service Bee.  My husband serves with a special couple who have a large enough space for us to use in their basement.  We have been so blessed to be able to have room for our Projects.  When my husband asked if they would be able to let us use their basement – they didn’t even hesitate – but said they would love to have us come.  This has been a great blessing for us as we do not need to move our things back and forth, and the space we need to get things done is just right!

It feels a little like Santa’s work shop!

There will be many lives blessed with the amount of quilts we are able to produce from all who have so selflessly donated their time and energy to help with this project. The fabric we are cutting out and putting into Baby or Twin size quilt Kit will be distributed to be sewn together – The finished quilt tops will need to be Machine or Longarm quilted.

The finished quilts will then be taken to RoseAnn and Lael, who run the Launfal Foundation, to be distributed directly to those who are in such desperate need.

A huge thank you to them both for providing us with the donated fabric from Riley Blake Designs!  Such generosity has been a great blessing!!

A special thanks to all who came to make this a fun and successful day!

We had 13 ladies come to help us sew quilt tops together!  These quilts will be sent to the Launfal Foundation which sends these quilts to those in great need.  It was a success!  We were able to partially complete 5 quilt tops.  The ladies took them home to finish.  We will soon need Quilters to help us finish quilting these tops to be ready to donate to the Launfal foundation.  A special thank you to those who worked so hard to put this all together:  Jill Skousen, Linda Bowen, Alice Adamson, Melody Liddle, Lisa Larson, Jana Grass, Kristen Clark, Judy Llewelyn, RuthAnn Evans, Julie Colledge, Karen Benner to name a few. A huge thank you to my husband and family who have supported me through all of this – picking up what I couldn’t do as I spent my time in preparation.  Their love and encouragement means everything to me!!

I would like to give a special thank you to RoseAnn & Lael – both who have given moral support and resources to me as I have started my Service Adventure!  Their advice and love seemed to come just when I needed it! Most of all I would like to thank my Heavenly Father for inspiring me, guiding me, and holding me up when I was weak.  I pray this Service work will grow – enabling a few of His handmaidens to help relieve the heavy heads, hands & hearts of those we are privileged to serve.
