Hi, I’m Krysti Wright – I love sewing, quilting and I love to serve others! Quilting and sewing have been one of my passions for over 40 years. As a young girl, my grandmother let me rummage through all her fabric scraps to make Barbie clothes while visiting them in Canada. As a young wife and mother, I sewed star quilt tops for a store in town. My first attempt at hand quilting was at a Quilting Bee I’d been invited to. Even though I’m sure those kind ladies pulled out half of my stitches when I left, I had caught the quilting bug! I started hand quilting for others after getting the swing of things. One of my first customers, who was very generous, gave me my first quilting frames as a thank you. Through the years we were blessed with 8 children, a son-in-law, two daughters-in-law, and five beautiful grandchildren. Any woman knows–your work is never done, no matter how many children you have. Often, I would refer to my quilting work as “My un-do-ables!” The dishes or diapers always needed tending to…but at the end of the day, no matter what… nobody was going to “undo” my stitches!
