“We are the Lord’s hands here upon the earth, with the mandate to serve
and to lift His children. He is dependent upon each of us.”
–President Monson (quoted in the April 2016, Gen. Conf. by Cheryl A. Esplin)
Quilting retreat with my Mom to finish the first Service Quilt Top.
We will show the ladies this top as a template to follow for our Humanitarian Service Bee!
The Krysti’s Quilts Service Bee Organization donates quilts to the Launfal Foundation, run by RoseAnn Gunther and Lael Ballantyne, as well as other Foundations. RoseAnn and Lael have been providing humanitarian relief worldwide for over 25 years. Their current efforts are to help the polygamist families here in Utah Valley and up North who are in desperate need of a way to stay warm this winter.
To get involved, come help us make quilts
and other items for those in need.
Our first “Service Bee” is Oct. 6th from 9 am – 12 noon
at 475 North 700 East, Pleasant Grove, UT.
